help needed to connect wireless GPS

try using 0000 1111 or 1234 and stuff

but it does need a matching /similar 0000 or 1234 whatever it is need to be entered by the GPS reciever , right? which i cannot do, because...i cannot do it from the reciever

There is no need to enter it on the Bluetooth GPS (as you can't) it will already had the code set, you only enter the code on your phone when pairing.
So as srw985 says just try the standard codes and see if they work.
Though as the phone has a built in GPS why do you want an external one?
