Which N-Gage-compatible device do you use to play N-Gage games on?
If you have more than one, choose the one you use the most for N-Gage gaming.

I wish they would add ngage to e-series phones like my e51. For now, however, I would have to tick the box 'I am not using ngage because my phone doesn't support it'...

I will most likely buy a new phone next year, though, and then I will make sure it's N-Gage compatible.
They should definitely add N-Gage to the E51, there's no technical reason to stop them.
It has a fast enough processor, enough RAM, the right screen resolution, and the right version of S60.
It's clearly a very very popular phone, so adding N-Gage to the E51 would potentially bring a lot of new users, and it's also a very cheap phone too (about 150 - 200 euros SIM-free) which would let people get onto N-Gage without spending a fortune.
for next gen n-gage i was originally going to use an N93, but before N-Gage was released i switched to N81 8GB, now im glad i did as N93 does not support it, plus its a HUGE bulky phone.
next year i might switch over to N96 (contract renewal). 😃
I used N81 8GB last year but this year I upgraded to N93i (Strange Upgrade isn't it😊 Now I stopped playing N-Gage and waiting for support for N93i......

Erm... where did you buy the N93i? I thought it was discontinued some time ago...
I bought from ebay UK,still brand new. I don't know why Nokia discontinued it so early. The phone is great but I am disappointed N-Gage still doesn't support N93i. Maybe they won't support it forever 😞

It's a great phone, the N93 and N93i have the best layout for gaming of any mobile I've ever used (including the QD).
But I think they didn't sell too well, maybe because they're a bit bulky as phones. They are really small as camcorders though.

N93/N93i is the best gaming device! That's the reason I changed my phone from N81 8G to N93i. Comparing with N81 I found N93i is much more suitable for mobile game. The horizontal mode on N93i is fantastic and you can play any key on the phone. (I haven't used QD don't know about it.)
N93i really should be featured as a "Game" phone, if it had more ram. (BTW did you see the review of n93i in pockergamer.co.uk? They gave it 6/10 and says it's just not suitable for game. So amateurish! Perhaps they have never used it!) The camera is still one of the best amounst phones. Dispite that many device has 5 megapix or even 8, they don't have optical zoom and couldn't change focus, but N93i can...This is important, most people judge the camera only regard pixels...
I found almost all s60 devices are slightly bulky, (Apart from the new N85 and N76 maybe) N93 is big but N93i is fine, since people accept the size of N95.
To me I found the drawbacks of N93i are:
1 Not enough free RAM, maybe this is the reason why N-Gage still doesn't support it.
2 Only supports 2G SD card, if you have maps and songs and some videos and games you will be struggled with limited memory. (Compared with N81 8GB😊
3 OS system is too old. Doesn't support Nokia Maps 2.0, doesn't support SDHC etc. But if you regard hardware only, it should definitely support them.
It is the best phone I have ever used. 🙄🙄
I have a theory about the N93, that it was originally meant to be a next gen gaming-oriented replacement for the QD.
The new N-Gage platform was originally meant to launch at around the same time as the N93, and I got a tip-off that Nokia was going to unveil a gaming-oriented model at E3 2006, but it never happened. However, looking back, they DID feature the N93 rather heavily there, and perhaps if the platform had launched on time in 2006 they would have used the N93 as the flagship phone for it.
In the end though, the platform got delayed by 2 years so by the time it launched the N93 had been discontinued and was out of date in other ways (especially the amount of RAM).
A shame, the N93 was a great form-factor for gaming, especially if you used TV Out as it worked really well as a joypad.
I don't think Nokia is going to use that form-factor again though, because the models which used it didn't sell that well (the N93, N93i and N92).
I think I have read your theory some time before, can't find it any more.
N92 is the other way around, not familiar. But I don't know why N93i didn't sell well. ALL people around me like this phone, some people even thought it's the newest model when they saw it. N93 is bulky and the front doesn't look very good. But N93i's size is more or less the same as N95 and the mirror front is very nice. I guess maybe Nokia limited the amount of N93i in order to stimulate the sale of N95?
Anyway the form-factor of N93 N93i&N92 is my favourite!!!It's the best design I have ever seen in mobile phone.
Really hope I can get an upgraded version of N93i, Although it's a bit hopeless.....
(Like N-Gage support for N93i...)
BTW I watched Mission Impossible 3 last week and they use an N93i throughout the film... maybe that's why Nokia brought out a special edition of the original N93 with the film pre-loaded:

Haha! Nokia must have paid them a lot for advertising.
I think N81 are the most gaming phone for N-Gage 2.0 but someone said that N93i has more 3D graphics to layout & playing some games.
