My 16 month old N95 suddenly starts rebooting then eventualy get a blank screen yet the phone is still functioning.
I did a google and checked the white strip at the back of the phone which indicates water damage. The strip is still white so I took it to my nearest T-mobile who then send it for repair.
I come to pick it up today and imagine my supprise when it comes back unrepairable due to 'Liquid Contamination', voiding the warrenty.
I also recieved a very poor photo of what I presume was the curciut board of my phone where they circled the component that was damaged
I checked the back of the phone and the strip is still white so I asked the
shop assistant about this discrepancy and he said water can come through the front of the phone and yet the strip can remain white.
Now I live and work in London, and I'm am not going to pretend the phone has been in a moisture free zone since i had it.
Although I have insurance for the the phone, T-mobile repair centre dealing with the matter has made me very suspicious.
