well i am trying to Synchronization the contacts of my 9210 to my pc in outlook ... well i can do that ..but if i update or add new contact on the pc and Synchronization again .. it dose not update it on the 9210 ... can anyone help me ..

Please go to Nokia PC Suite and right click on the contacts sync. task.

You will have there an option===>update in both ways. This should solve.

Define also wich device has priority when are some entry conflicts.....

This can be a pain in the aas 😃 if do not set it up as you need.

As somebody here said few monts ago, I would not let outlook write in my 9210 😃

Good luck :fadein:

thanks .. i worked that out before u told me .. and second reason it wasnt working was that i didnt select the right folder to syn/// anyways thanks ...

I think it was probably me that said that. One of the problems with synching both ways is getting duplicate entries. One reason is that outlook insists on sticking brackets around area codes, etc.

v2.03 of PC suite may help - I haven't tried it yet.

I've quit syncing both ways too, only sync from phone to PC. I had problems with double entries in contacts as well.

There still seems to be some kind of confusion about deleting entires in calendar though. Whenever there is a recurring event (every week or so) and I delete one particular event on my communicator, it does not always get deleted in outlook. 😮

Yep - had that too and with anniversaries - it drove me round the twist! I'm guessing that it's something to do with the way outlook handles the data and tracking of changes. It does seem to have got better now data only goes 9210-PC. PC Suite 1.6 seemed to help as well.

dont u guys think that the old 9110 pc suit was better for contact managment ... i still have a 9110 and finally i have thought of doing my updations there and then putting it on the 9110 and then transfering it to the 9210 .. i know it is still a hassal ...but i guess a easier way out .. nokia should have given it a thought ... and seconly i noticed that 9210 dose not take the user defined fields in outlook .... 😞 i guess we have to live with it untill nokia comes out with a solution ... what do u guys say
