According to reports on the N-Gage Arena forums, the UK Official Xbox 360 Magazine, also known as OXM, has an extra disc with the current issue (Jan 2009, Issue 42) which contains one free N-Gage game activation code as well as other N-Gage-related gubbins. Can readers of this particular periodical confirm the existence of the disc? Have you seen it included with other magazines?

I think it makes a lot of sense for Nokia to promote N-Gage in gaming media, after all they're not competing directly with consoles. Console owners buy phones too, maybe they will choose N-Gage-compatible ones.
Another good idea might be to release Reset Generation on Xbox Live Arcade and Wiiware, to get people to realise that Nokia does make excellent games.

theres seems to be a little conflicting info in the thread but i think that might be down to some1 not paying attention
i got the magazine you get a choice of activating either ONE ,COTD ,Dirk Dagger ,Pro serires golf ,tetris star wars or asphalt 3
the disc is for ppl who have n95 or n95 8gb but not got n-gage on it , it installs n-gage and the demos of each game mentioned above
Quite a nice choice of games, I will say. Nokia is really trying a lot to make N-Gage a familiar name.
Its not the first time N-Gage/Nokia has worked with the Xbox 360, the first time was in america, when the servers shut down for a day for maintence the flagship stores in the USA Gave away free star wars codes to anyone that walked in an asked about an N-Series device.
Anyway it is true that the magazine does come with a Disc and 1 FREE GAME ACTIVATION, however the magazine itself (in my opinion) was waste of money as most of the info inside was old.

Maybe, but like you say the magazine is cheaper than the game itself so you're still winning. 😊
As far as I know, you can use an N-Gage code to unlock a demo on any device.
Once you use the code though, it gets locked to that device and can't be used on other phones.
The person who posted the story originally used the code without even touching the CD (the code is printed on the cover apparently), so I'm pretty sure you don't need to install anything from the CD.
The N-Gage game code is located on the back cover of the carded CD Sleve (basicly the sleeve the N-Gage disc came in). The Code can be used on any of the 7 Games and can only be used once. The code can be used on any N-Gage compatible device. The only reason they choose the N95 and N95 8GB as it seems to be the most popular phone (which i have to agree, as i see loads of people using it).
