Bluetooth Voice for 7650 - Idea

I think bluetooth headsets are not supported by 7650
only data transfer.

Hi, yeah unfortunately the first 7650's only supported data transfer via bluetooth and not voice. However, I have been stumbling across information that says that the latest firmware for the 7650's incorporates voice. This firmware being 4.39, to which I have had my phone ungraded to but cannot tell you for sure if wireless voice is now supported. I'm personally hoping it is but we shall see. Maybe you should consider the upgrade and while your at the nokia service centre ask them whats new as thats what I forgot.

Yes. There are a few. There has been talk of those here on AAS, do a search 😃
If I remember correctly it was something called m-1500 or something like that.

It is the Plantronics M1500 headset and adapter, available in the US market, but, Plantronics do not recommend it's use in the UK as our GSM networks are very powerful and could cause a great deal of interferance.

They told me to try other manufacturers.

As for Firmware 4.39 and BT audio. I feel that this is unlikely as we have many members on the forum using this firmware and not one has posted that BT is supported in it.

Has Anybody even tried using bluetooth Audio in the latest firmware? Maybe we all had faith in bluetooth audio not working on our 7650's that we just didn't bother trying. I've seen many possibilities a 7650 can do that once was thought hardly possible. Maybe this is one of them. If somebody has tried please post your results? Cheers! 😃

im running 4.39 with an hbh-30 and it definately doesnt work
