Backup - FW update - restore .. any pitfalls?

Hi
A short description of what I'm about to do moving from my old 6100 to my new 6220c - so you can stop me before I do something un-clever !? :dong:

Primary goal:
Update firmware, restore calendar entries from my 6100, install new 8gb card.

Status:
6220 fw ver. 03.23.206.03.
Contacts copied to 6220 using sim card.
Calendar entries backup made from 6100 with PC Suite.

(FW updating - then contacts are lost, right? Will access points, email account settings and so on be lost too?)

1) Backup contacts, settings, user files etc. from 6220 using PC suite.
2) Insert new 8gb card. Format.
3) Run Nokia Software Updater.
( 3) - anything here? )
4) Restore contacts etc. from pc with PC Suite.
5) Restore 6100 calendar entries from pc with PC Suite.
6) Start Nokia Maps to establish folder structure on card. Download maps from Internet.
7) Install calsync60
8) Install Amaze

Can anyone recommend a webcam application (pref. free)? - Is Mobiola the 'default' ?

Thanks for any comments.

Wow - not a lot of activity in this forum, eh?? (this being my third thread with no responses)
Well, let me comment on my own questions, then... 😉

After I posted the above, I found this on updating N95's:
http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum//forum/thread/67123/
which was not too far from my own plans.
So I went ahead, but it turned out that everything was still on the phone after the update to 03.46 = no need to restore - yay!

Later!
