Autorun

It depends on what you mean by "autorun".

Do you mean "start automatically when your 9210 is reset or restarted"? If you do then that is where Active Desk comes in. I have been using it for a while now and in my opinion it is the best program I have registered on the 9210. It allows programs to be launched on startup.

If you mean "start at a predetermined time" when your 9210 has already been restarted then that is another question.

I shall let someone wiser than myself give you an answer (if there is one) to that problem.

I'm talking about programs (like Active Desk) but I can't use Active Desk cause I'm running PSI Locale greek and it looks awfull...
there must be a way to autorun programs without active desk...!

Umm... yeah I know that too but I don't speak German and I don't understand what it says...
Can anyone help me?!?

Yeah well... I already see the headline "Automatic Translation Service Makes Communicator Crash" User posted image. Coolmatter I am Dutch and as you know we speak every language in the world User posted image except possibly spanish...
I'll translate freely

Q Is it possible to make the Communicator start an application when booting?

A You might want to use the tools "autostart" or "Active Desk", but you can do it manually as well

1) Make a directory CSystemAutorun
2) Create a text file with the lines

uid=Kalender
background=false

3) Save the textfile in the directory made in step one and name it sometname.ast
4) Boot your communicator

The name to be used for the uid-field can be obtained with help from Task Switcher simply press 'v' to see the UID.

Does this help?
