Hi, i've downloaded a load of games for my n95 and transferred them over to my phone in .jar format so i can install which ones i want with file manager 😎

my mate wants a couple of the games for his phone, but when i try and send a .jar file to his phone via bluetooth it says thats it's unable to send as it's a protected object??? :con?

is there a way around this? thanks for any help 😊

hi i have the same problem whem i try to send some things from file manager or y-browser ,via bluetooth it says thats it's unable to send as it's a protected object??? can some one help
thanks😊

Greetings,

U can zip them up & send them.

I've done it on my N95 to a N95-8GB.

Rgds,

Gory

NOTE: Although the .jar shows up in as a compressed file, u can still add it to a zip archive.

You need to download the extra module for y-browser called BT-OBEX. Once you have installed this, you can then SEND the file via BT-OBEX (not the normal BT way which is restricted).
