Keyboard Copy / Paste ?

As the title says... Is it possible somehow (maybe with some application) to do a combination of keys for copy/paste text like we have on computers?

you can do it with a gesture on the touchscreen

once you select the text you want to copy, the copy command can be invoked by doing a big mirrored L .. the phone will pop up an acknowledgement saying 'copied'

Describing the paste gesture is a bit more tricky :con?

It's a mirrored curvy 'E' ... oh wait..

Yes I know abou the gesture copy - paste, It's just that the paste part doesn't always work, you have to be pretty precise and I don't use handwriting anyway, I have it disabled. That's why I was looking for a keyboard solution. Maybe there's some application that can set some global hotkey for copy and paste
