Issue with ringer volume stuck on E71

Hi there,

I have a new problem on my E71. Actually, 2 problems. The first thing is when I go into Tools->Settings->General->Personalization->Tones, I am unable to adjust the ringer volume. When I select the option, the volume is set about mid-way up on the bars. But when I push the scroll button up or down, it doesn't change. I also tried pushing the volume buttons on the side of the phone. Nothing works to adjust the ringer volume.
Note: The volume keys work fine for changing the volume for music files.

The second issue is that I'm unable to select a file for my ringtone from that Tones page. When I click on 'Ringing Tone', it is supposed to load all the music files it finds on my device so I can choose one. It doesn't. All it says is "Download sounds" and "Off". So the only way I can set it is to open the file in the music player and then use the option to set as ringtone.
Note: In a third party app I have for alarms, a similar setting works fine and does load all music files on my device so I can choose one.

The only thing that I thought might be the culprit here is that a couple months ago my phone crashed, and I did a restore from the Nokia backup. I reset the phone and then did the restore. It seemed to work fine. And I'm not sure if the time I did that corresponds to the same time the volume stopped working.

Any ideas?

Thanks much!

OMG, how could I be so stupid! LOL I guess I didn't remember that from when I originally set the volume.

Thanks, that worked perfectly. 😊
