Hi, I goy a replacement phone this morning from orange (nokia n95 8gb) as it was stolen yesterday.
the CS rep as orange said it will be a brand new handset, the phone came in a small white box, does this mean its 2nd or reconditioned. it does still have the thin plastic film on the screen.
can anyone tell me when orange send out replacement handsets is it normal for it to come in a small cardboard box, and does this mean it not new?
is anyone able to clarify or confirm this please?
sounds like a reconned one , thats how mine came from o2, when they despatched a new one it came in originaly box and they swapped phone at the door so i was left with just the new phone and battery
It will be a recon unit. They very rarely send out new units. Normally only when you kick up a fuss due to a short period of having a new phone, or having numerous recon phones before hand.

im not too fussed, the phone seems and looks just as good as brand new, still has the plastic film on the screem, andnot a single mark anywhere.
just after upgrading to V31 and menus is super fast.
