is there a way to get everything onetimeclickable?
im mean as soon as the menu goes into letter, you need two click on every item to go in, this is suckin how to change that?

damn, this is so uncool... no of their videos was shown this, its really sucking 2 time clicking...

yep the double click on menus is really annoying - i keep doing one touch. waiting waiting. then realising i have to press again. i guess ill get used to it - but its bad UI, this isnt a desktop with a mouse.

The reason it's like that is because the touchscreen control has just been shoehorned into an OS that was designed to be used with a d-pad.

The main menu icons are single click, and many sub-menu items are single click.

However, once you go deeper there are double-click items.

The point of double-click items is to give you the option of selecting the item without activating it, because you may want to do something with it. For example if you select a gallery item you could choose to edit it from the options menu instead of opening it.

It does make sense after you've used it for a while, if everything was single click you wouldn't be able to select something without activation.

It's the same in Windows really, you have to double click on desktop icons because you might want to do something other than open them (for example copy, delete, move etc).
