Change Home Screen Application Shortcut Icons for my e71

Hi everyone,

No one (including Nokia) can help me with this one.
I've been able to easily put Bookmarks for websites as Application Shortcuts on the home screen.
Now my issue is that I can't change the icon image of the shortcuts. The reason why I want to be able to do this is because if I have multiple Bookmarks on the home screen they look the same.

I have a feeling you may be able to do this with theme building software. I know it is possible because I'm with 3 Mobile and they have specific shortcuts related to them.

Hi,

I've thought of an alternative that might work.

Is it easy to make an application that simply loads a web page in the default browser? If so this would do what I need.

I don't know if there's a way to edit the shortcut itself, but in Win Mobile you can edit the .LNK file (in the same way as you do on your PC) and you could probaby specify the FavIcon as the icon.

I've never tried it on S60, so I don't know if there's a way to get to the shortcut, edit it, and then re-load it to the device.
