I've just updated the firmware to version 30.0.018, and whilst browsing Nokia Beta Labs, i noticed that there's a Nokia Maps 3.0 Beta release. Being all too keen on seeing, if they've improved the Maps application I attempted to install the application.
How ever, I cannot install the application on my phone. I get an error code, that there's insufficient information avaliable about the phone (3) and perhaps the device is not supported (16).
The application is avaliable for Symbian S60 feature pack 2.0 - I cannot determine which feature pack is included in the firmware ver 30.0.018 for the N95 8GB. From production the N95 8GB is apparently shipped with Feature Pack 1.
So the question is:
1) Does any one know if the Ver 30.0.018 comes with Feature Pack 1 - and I'll just have to wait and see, if Nokia Maps 3.0 will become avaliable for N95 8GB.
2) Have any one successfully installed the Nokia Maps 3.0 beta on the N95 8GB?
I'll definitely be looking forward to hearing from you =)
