Hi,

I've tried searching for this but no-one seems to confirm or deny the last point.

I have my destinations set up in the priority i want, my WLAN, Work WLAN, if those aren't available then use O2 Web (unlimited anyway)

I've changed the options so that they say use access point automatically.

Why then, everytime i connect to the web do i have to confirm which bloody connection to use, SURELY there is an option so it does it automatically!? I know it's a small thing, but it's driving me nuts!

Tools - Settings - Connection - Destinations - Options - Default connection.

Set it to the connection you want to select automatically.

Hi Gordon,

I just tried that, i set it to select the internet, which is where the access points are in priority order, but it STILL asks me to confirm the connection, now it just has a little flag next to the internet logo when it does..

you mean from the default browser?

ok, try the following:

hold down the "0" button to run the default web browser, then press:

options - settings - general - access point. [set it to the destination previously set, for example "internet"]

Hi Gordon,

I think we're almost there! I've done as you suggested and now it doesnt ask for the connection type, however, instead i now get a "packet data connection not available error"

Havent had this before, so not sure how to proceed..
