my n95 has got a bit confused and can't see gallery content, music & (more importantly) pak files for quake.
but file manager browses fine...
ani ideas how i can force it to rescan the card?

Have you upgraded the phone's firmware recently?
all but the most recent, didn't actually change anything release.
which was done as soon as it was released...

Just a suggestion.
You could try copying the entire contents of your Memory Card to a new file on your desktop and then reformat the card and copy everything back again.
i had a nasty feeling i'd be ending up there....

buggrit. can't actually open any files on the memory card from the phone. can't copy them off. can't read it in a card reader and both vista and windows 7 wa't to format it
trying a phone backup to force it...
anyone got any other ideas?
