In messaging when I try to "write short mesage" I get a small rectangle message which says "NOTE not Found" I have tried to reinstall but to no avail, is there some kind person out there who could supply me with a guide as to how to get this back, I can't send any text messages, if I type them on the front key panel they go into the outbox and stay there, seems that the software program as gone.
I check my sim card on another phone and there is no problem sending, I have tried another sim card in the 9210 and get the same problem,

firstly u will need the All_Nokia_card.sis from the nokia forum.
i think the only way out is to do the following.
u will need to format ur ph. on start up by pressing shift+ctrl+f..this u must do when u see the 2hands splash screen.
after u have formated it. load the all_nokia_card.sis & it should work as normal.
remember to back up ur stuff first.

I've noticed strange happenings on my phone when I upgrade software and put them in a different location. For example, I have AD on my D but when I upgraded, figured I'd try and whip it onto C
Boy did it complain! Not AD's fault (in my opinion), just the way it woiks.

if not you need to do a clean install or an upgrade or a backup reinstall of all that has SMS in the title I m still trying to track down what happens but i am traveling too much at the moiment to really have time to strip down the programme all I haave found out for the moment is that the problem is in the Z drive files

let me ask you a question....does your phone HANG often? Anyways if this is a recurring problem then it has to be sent to the nokia service centra...its a upgrade error.
i kept having a recurring problem with my fax thing & i formated it & send it to them for an upgrade & now it works fine. U must back up everything though.
It was wierd though....nokia told me that sorry they cannot backup my data or format my MMC as it was not bought by them so i had to go give them the original & take back my 64MB MMC.
anyways now its fine. I just loaded everything myself after that. But it was nice of them to give me a cd with the latest 4.13 essentials.
let me kow how it works after the re-upgrade.

Many thanks to you guys who sent me mail, I know it's been a while, but I've now educated myself in the ways of 9210, and find it to be indispensible.
