I have tried every mode offered, flickr, ovi and vox but when signing in they all give a failure code of 502. Has anyone got any ideas?
5800 and share online
Id like this to work as well. Only thing missing from the excellent 5800! HELP!
A 502 error indicates a bad gateway (in other words a web connection error).
Try making sure an internet connection is already established (e.g. open web and go to a web page) before opening share online (you should only need to do this for the set up).

sadly wont install - the phone kicks back and says it needs "base software" installed.
That sounds like there might be a missing software component which is strange. You could try reinstalling the firmware via NSU, but otherwise you may have to wait for the next firmware update.
Of course I may be wrong, but it does sound like something fundamental is missing / messed up.
I had a similar problem on my N95 / t-mobile
i switched to an O2 SIM and it started working again. very very odd.
In fact all nokia services refused to let me log in- but everything else was fine.
I'm using that t-moby sim in my 5800 and using share on line no probs.
just appeared on the OTA update. FLICKR! Now officially my favourite phone Ive owned!
