Hello all ,

Make sure the files are for S60 3rd Edition or later. The N91 is based on S60 3rd Edition, and .sis files meant for earlier S60 version will not work/run.
Otherwise, tell us what "isn't work" means? Do you get an error message when you try to install? If so, what is that message, exactly?
I downloaded an application "sisboom.sis" , and when I try to install it , on the phone appeared this message : installation of sisboom.sis not suported.
Thank you!
As far as I know, "sisboom" is only for older (S60 2nd Ed.) devices based on Symbian 8 or 7.
The N91 is based on S60 3rd Edition and Symbian 9.1 and it isn't compatible at all.
Contact the developer and ask if they can make a new version that is compatible with S60 3rd Ed./Symbian 9.
I have a similar problem on my n82! when i try to install a sis or sisx file it says 'file corrupted'! what can i do? any ideas?
sis files can be enabled only in java enabled phones like sony ericsson etc.
u cant install files in all phones. if u try 2 install theams for nokia try thm files and other recommended softwares
apparently these newer OS phones wont run .sis files, they will only run the new .sisx files, which means all the apps i bought for my previous phones are useless - thanks a lot Nokia! i for one will be complaining - i must have spent well over 300 on apps and stuff that are now useless, all this without warning too! Hmmm, guess i'll just have to stick with an older phone that i can use to its full potential as i aint spending oodles of cash on new apps!
1) I am using E90 , Symbian v 9.2 also named S60 v3 FP1 . Have no problem to install .sis AND .sisx files at all .
2) my phone's Application Manager is set to : 1) All , 2) Off
(Installations > Options > Settings)
3) when the message "certificate expired" pops up , set Clock back to an appropriate date during install .
4) .sis and .sisx files are only ment for Symbian , not for JAVA
5) JAVA extensions are .jar or .jad

this happens with my nokia 6121 classic. How do you solve it?
Paradiiz They send .cer and .key file , just fill the form and they sign apps too 😉
It's a good way, for symbian users !
