Does anyone have an idea how to add the categories to the synchronization of the MS Outlook with the Nokia E71, expecially to the Notes of the outlook and contacts.

You cant do this - at least not in any of the phones Nokia had released up until Feb 15th, 2009. They do sync all the part of outlook, except the categories. Even the so-called "business oriented" E series does not do this.
Have a look and see if any of the new phones this weeek, do it. But I really doubt that they will.
It seems strange that a "business" phone like the E71 fails to import the categories of the Outlook Calendar. This is something that is fundamental to how I work.

I am syncing client with odbc server using default tables provided and I see that categories are supported for contacts tasks and calendar but not for notes. How come?
I tried adding categories to the fieldlist and fieldmap for notes and adding a column in db for it, but no luck.
Any info on that would be appreciated. Thanks
