I was just wondering if anyone here traded a 7650 for the P800 and if so how much were you given for it, I went to Carphone Warehouse and they said they could just give me the �20 'recycle' value even though I know that all they need do is purchase a new cover set, (about �10 to them) and they can sell it on for over �100!
Is this the standard answer or has anyone managed to wrangle a bargain from a 7650 trade-in?
Looking at E-bay, if I can get the 7650 'unlocked' (anyone know how???) I can sell it on there for well over �150. hmm.

I think �20 is the best you will get out of most places, you could take in a P800 and a 6 year old abused Nokia now and they will offer you �20 for both handsets, they have one trade in price.
Just get is sold second hand, fair enough its a bit of hassle but it's worth it, or if you can't be arsed to do that, keep the 7650 it even has plus points over the P800 (Camera being one) for the sake of �20 it's hardly worth giving it to a phone shop.
Lets just say that i'd prefer you sold it to me for �50-�100 than give it to the CPW for �20!
Sell it on ebay or similar - as long as you get familiar with the way it works, and the possible scams some people try to pull, you'll end up with closer to �200 for a 7650. I'm just about to sell mine, and it'll have a �220 reserve on it (is unmarked, still with screen sticker on though - and unlocked).
As for unlocking - dvds2000 or similar sites do remote unlocking for around �20 (i.e. you give IMEI they send codes back to you - they are a very trustworthy site, known many people use them and did mine through them fine.)
Or if you look in the right place you can currently get a DCT-4 nokia unlocked for free (look at the nokia section on howardforums) - there are some people offering to remote unlock peoples dct-4's. We're not entirely sure why, is probably very dodgy (though you're not meant to be able to alter IMEI's with DCT-4) but 100's of people have posted up their IMEIs and got working unlock codes back.
Why do you say that about the P800 camera? why is the 7650 better in that respect?
Dont even think about the P800 camera. The camera of the 7650 is definitely much better
