Is there a way to connect an N81 8GB to the web through a PC (using either Bluetooth or USB)?
I know there's a way for older Nokia phones but have not found a way for the N81.
I know you can go the other way (use the phone to get a PC online) but that would basically double my cell phone bill each month, and it's just silly to pay for the same service twice.
Hi,
I dont know if it could help you
You can install Nokia PC Suite 7.1.18.0 or Nokia OVI Suite 1.1 and use One Touch Access to access Web from your phone. But you need GPRS enabled by your service provider for which charges may be applicable whenever you access web using your phone.

I'm using that version of PC Suite and, as you suggest, without activation with the phone co., it won't work.
Hi PJeigh,
While connecting One Touch access, Have you selected your phone operator correctly from the drop down list ???
Maybe I'm not being clear.
I want to use my PC's existing internet connection to surf the web using my Nokia N1 8GB.
I do not want to use One Touch to connect my PC to the web using my phone. I want to connect my phone to the web using my PC.
GNUBox would be ideal but it does not appear to work with the N1 8GB phone.
Bu to answer the question, yes, I selected my carrier but that does not matter since One Touch is to get your PC online via phone. I want to get my phone online via PC.
