BBC iplayer access point change???

I cannot get BBc iplayer to stream videos, because every time I open application it automatically uses my network internet not my wifi access point.

There is no way to change this as far as i can see, yet when i want to watch something it tells me I have to connect to wifi.

How do i change the settings so i can use it with wifi?

Mine always prompts me - it might have something to do with the connection preference in your web browser. Is there a default access point set up in there? Try changing it to "Always Ask".
