The carphone warehouse is selling the P800 for �199 with a �30 contract. Very tempting, although I'll probably wait for flat rate GPRS connections.

I was originally told �199 to upgrade my Talk500 talk plan but looking on the website it tells me �299... :-?

I may have paid more... but to be honest, this thing is well worth it... looks like I'll be able to sell my Nokia 9210, 6210 and my Jornada 720 ... that'll more than cover the cost!
you should always say ur not happy with customer services when they quote you an upgrade price and then they will but u through to customer retentions who offer a way better better deal on an upgrade!
it also depends 2 certain extent on your call spend but they can offer a better discount - i was offered any handset i want with 75% off the RRP 😃

Yeah, but this is on a �75/mo tarrif which works out as �900 over the 12 months!

theres nothing stopping u changing the tarrif as soon u get the phone in ur hands 2 the lowest talk plan from from ur first billing date which = �10
