My phone is UK Red unlocked on three

Yep, just updated, UDP worked flawlessly, not quite sure what they've changed yet though

Update is available for my UK generic Red (product code 575581) via NSU.

I did get my phone updated to v11 earlier this week at a Service Centre but I can't see why someone still on v10 shouldn't be able to upgrade as well

UK - that was from the 5800, will try PC Suite then tonight. Mine is a red one from Nokia direct shipped on the first day..

NSU says that my phone isn't supported!!! It was working the other day 😞

5800XM Blue, product code: 0559346

No update for me. I have the Asia Pacific 2 version. As usual I guess we'll be months behind here.

So annoying.

My UK Nokia shop bought phone just offered to upgrade itself (and I let it) from .008 to .009 this morning. I am on TMobile, but using the Nokia server.

Apart from who can and who can't, anyone got any ideas which of the 1,864 bugs they have fixed ? (I just made that number up, but it must be close.)

Everyone on UK generic product codes... check again... V20.0.? is now available (for mine anyway) - updating now!

Stu,

What's your product code and old firmware version ?

Mine's a 575581 that was updated to v11.0.008 at a Nokia Service centre last week then updated to v11.0.009 on Thursday and I got a message on the phone this morning that there was an important update to apply.

But I'm not seeing anything in the OTA updater (using the Nokia server profile, the T-mobile one doesn't seem to do anything) nor NSU (but I don't think anyone seen v20 in NSU)

Same here, I had that message and said 'yes', but nothing happened. I manually checked, nothing there either.

Then some hours later, I checked again, and it's there.

Have updated to V20 now.

Hmmm
I wonder if they are staggering the release to different product codes again ?

What your product code and old firmware ?

(Quite why Nokia need different product codes for otherwise identical Red and Blue phones is beyond me. If it's the different coloured themes then stick BOTH themes in the same firmware and allow the user to pick which one they prefer)

Mines a 575581 UK Nokia unlocked Red on Vodafone.

Got the update message this morning but still saying no update available ota.

😞

Will be great if it means you can get rid of the search from the home screen at last !

Yes, you can get rid of it 😊

Ah, found the option to get rid.

However, thats probably because it completely screwed it up.

Each time I pressed on it, it just gave a 'system error' message.

Good job I never used it!

As many of Nokia 5800 users are saying that they are not able to update the latest firmware for their phone the reason must be the update is not available for their particular product code or their region/country does not have the latest update with it. Wait and watch is the ultimate suggestion for these Nokia 5800 users.
