i got the i8510 its a great phone, but i got this problem! when i record videos the quality is good but the audio is very noisy even in quiet places 😞 the phone has the latest firmware update, anyone else got the same problem?!

i have the same problem too.....
and my phone is running with the latest firmware......
the mic of the camera is very sensitive and when shooting outdoors the weakest winds can make the video very noisy
Plus the sound is out of sync. The i8510 is rubbish for filming =(
this sux, ppl said that after i update the phone to the latest firmware all pics and video quality will be better and better, i saw nothing of that 😞
i hope someone will get us some solution :frown:
i also discovered this trying to film some karaoke sessions... it's like the gain is up waaaay to high, the audio i got was unrecognisable, just terrible...
FYI I tried changing Settings > Applications > Voice Recorder > Recording Quality, from MMS Compatible to High. Still seems to pick up wind and background noice a lot... Would be curious if anyone else has tried changing that setting and whether it made any difference?
tried that but still the same quality :frown: this is frustrating why this great phone has such crappy video recording sound 😞 and its .mp4 should be super clear!!! ugghh:con?
This is a known bug in the current set of firmwares.
When Samsung release an updated firmware, hopefully they will address this bug.
