Hello all, I have just upgraded my Nokia N95 8gb from v20.x firmware to v31.x firmware.
before i did this upgrade i used Nokia PC suite (7.1.18.0) the content copier fucntion, and did a full backup (excluding the 8gb mass memory) this gave me a 55mb file called 2009-02-09 G.NBU
so i went ahead and did the firmware upgrade.. all working super, i then tried to use the PC suite content copier to doa restore of the backup file, which seemed to work ok, but when the phone restarted, it said "phone failed to startup contact your retailer"
so i did the reset, and it worked ok again... tried the restore once more, but it gave the same error.
so i settled for the fact that i had lost stuff, and proceeded to setup the phone from sratch.. contacts and landmarks wernt a problem as i had them in outlook and ovi.. but the only thing i really am gutted about is my Ngage saved games.
is there anyway possible or any application that can extract the ngage save games from the the .nbu backup? or is it a lost cause?
Cheers
