Not quite true, joikuspot premium edition support ptpp on S60 V5. AFAIK the only one for V5.

Perfect phone for all E51 users . Love the battery performance .
My only thought is about the keypad , it'll need time for sure.
Hmm, you might be right. Although you seem to be speculating somewhat.
Shame they dont do V5 though, nor do they have any plans to.
So when you say S60, you really mean S60 V3, and previous versions 😉

That study shows this type of keybaord is just as fast as E71.
Their study found that for every 100 characters you could type with the E61i keybord, with the the E71 keyboard you would on average type 78 characters in the same amount of time. This type of keybaord in the E55 is similar to that of the Sony Ericsson P1i, which also averaged 78 characters in that same time frame.
The E66 keyboard I think produced 66 characters in thesame time frame.
So this E55 keybaord gives you same speed level as E71, while gving you more flexibility in the device format. You can put it in a candybar format or landscape and not forced to go strictly landscape like the E71 forces you to.
Like I said, this keyboard basically should make the traditional phone ABC keybaord totally redundant. And is a real threat to cramped QUERTYs like the E71.
Indeed this is a great phone! If Nokia's October partnership with Nuance Communications netted tehm better predictive-text entry than the E71 then this device has it all. Now will I be able to use the 5630's Contact Bar for a home screen?! Is switch available that is used on E66/E71??

Then look no further than the 5630 XM - essentially its the same phone; same platform > just in XM disguise. Still NGage compatible, new home screen and music buttons.
EDIT: actually with SureType - using it exclusively for data input over 40days for the die-had XT9 user (nobody makes regular T9 systems for the past 2yrs its been XT9) - I'll bet you'll wonder what you've done without it! Although if you remember your VM access number as a short 4-6letter word set by a xT9 keyboard you'll be pissed.
Does anyone know if this half-qwerty or SureType keyboard will have a text entry database that is editable?!
Nokia E55, Why so less Internal Ram just 60MB as compared to Nokia E51 which has a 130MB...
