5800 wi-fi

Hi,

I have recently purchased the 5800 which is my first mobile which has the wi-fi feature. I would like to ask if there are any security measures we should be taken before browsing the net from a mobile phone. The reason i am asking this is because so far i have always browsed the net via pc and i am aware that one needs a firewall/antivirus/anti-spyware etc ... so i am not sure if a mobile phone requires any similar software.

Hi, nope, nothing is required.

Nothing is required. No viruses or spyware will infect your phone by just browsing the net (Wi-Fi or GPRS).

Any malicious application have to be deliberately installed and acknowledged by the phone user.
