E71 Modified Keypad Lock Function

Does anyone know if it is possible to modify the Keypad Lock and Unlock function (pressing Left Soft key then Function key)? It is a little cumbersome.

I just came from the Palm Centro where to lock the keypad you hit the red "end call" key and to unlock the keypad you hit the center scroll key.

Just wondering....

yeh i heard someone say pressing the lower left key twice locks it but it dont work...

i am confused

can someone give us more info ?

You are probably aware of the fact that you can also achieve keypad unlocking by pressing the * key instead of the function key.
