Just found a nice little port for DOS Box to the S60 9.x platforms that has been out on another site (dont know if this is allowed - but the author has not got a proper webpage and has released it here):

What does this mean? You can now enjoy the good old technology called DOS on your S60 phone!

Tested on the E71 and does work.

Be aware it is a very early version and still very flaky so to speak. For one, Windows 3.11 does not load (yes, I've already tried it).

Other versions of DOS BOX including the PSP one does boot up Windows 95!

There are a lot of optimisations that can happen and trying to figure out the keymappings in the meantime to map the E71 keys properly!

Runs on all S60 9.x and comes in two versions. One "full" version that needs 30MB+ free RAM and one "lite" version that requires lesser RAM (for the older phones including N95-1).

Since no one is really that interested in DOS.. I thought I might tease at the concept of this using DOSBOX..
