Problems with PuTTY

Hi all!

I have some trouble with PuTTY on my new purchased Nokia 5800.
I use the newest version from the PuTTY for Symbian webpage. I know the version is for v3 not v5. However the program works great in general, the UI works fine and so.

The problem is that it wont connect to a server when using a WLAN connection. It works great using a 3g connection tho, so I hope it is some setting, becuse the program works so good in other areas.

Anyone had this problem?
The errormessage is: "Socket connect failed: Could not connect(-34)"

I have posted a bug-report at the projects page at sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=97245&atid=617443

PuTTY version: 1.5.0
OS version: S60v5(9.4), 11.0.008
Custom version: 11.0.008.246.03
Type:RM-356

Hello slanbarn.

I get that error, but in one of the two profiles I have. I've created a profile called "IN", that means within the LAN, and another that is "OUT", when connected from the outside.

Using the first one there's no problem at all, it works perfectly connected to an adress like 192.168.XXX.XXX (inside the same LAN as the server).

But it fails when connecting with the other profile which the only difference it has with the first profile is that it has a different host. Instead of being a LAN IP it's a host domain with NO-IP. I know it works when connecting with SSH from the outside, but not with my Nokia 5800 and this Putty. I get that error. But I think I get this error we are commenting only when trying to connect with the OUT profile being in the LAN. I think that I get another error when connecting from the outside, but I'm not sure.

I'll post it when I'll get it again
