Can anyone work out why some menus require a single tap, and others a double? It's baffling me.
Eg - menu -> settings (single tap) - > connectivity (double tap) -> network mode (single tap). I guess it depends on whether an item is already selected, but I haven't yet found a consistency to nokia's thinking

It's because S60 is a context sensitive OS. Let's say everything required only a single tap, it would mean you would never be able to just highlight something and then click options. So you wouldn't be able to select just a single text message and go 'options - delete' as by tapping on it, the phone would open it.
