If that's really going to the asking price, then I think I'll be looking at the Nokia 5800, N97 and Toshiba TG01 much more closely.

And the N97 is priced by expansys at �689.99. True the Brittish pound is not as strong as it used to be. But only the brainless will pre-order it. Its a known strategy to allow preordering new models for exhorbit prices and get delivery (when available). One the deliveries start the prices drop to reasonable values.
