On my N85, the message alert on the display (the little envelope at the top of the screen) blinks continuously but i dont know why!
Can anyone shed any light on this?
It blinks whether there is a new message received or not.

Isn't that usually because you've ran out of space to store the message? But surely that can't be a problem on the n85?
Yes!! But i've deleted all the message and its still there. Now tried reformatting phone, etc etc, but still wont go away.
It's really annoying because i keep thinking i've got a new message!
I believe it is because your SIM CARD has filled up with messages.
To check, run the Messaging app then select Options then SIM Messages.
