N73 help, memory & backup

I need help on my n73.
currently my memory was full. i cant recieve sms or send sms. i had search from internet that formating was only the solution. but how should i backup my file & application? is it possible to backup without using pc?

If you can launch it, you can use the "Memory" application on the phone to make a backup to the memory card (file E:\backup\backup.arc is created).
