nothing showing on file manager

I've got a strange problem (well, it seems strange to me). I had a memory card problem so replaced it with one the same size (2GB) Whilst I was replacing the card I updated the firmware, even though it was up to date.

I've reinstalled a lot of the software, music etc and the Memory Card app from the memory shows 1871MB Capacity, Used 894KB Free 977MB. But, when I go into File Manager, I just get a screen saying (no data). Gallery shows nothing, as done the music player. If I take a photo it's apparently "nowhere". Can anyone give an idea of what's happened?!

Thanks 😊

Phone model and firmware version? Are the files shown with Y-Browser ( http://www.drjukka.com ) if the built-in File manager doesn't?

Did you restore any backups made before updating the firmware (or did you just copy your data back otherwise, and reinstall apps, etc.)?

Did you do a separate *#7370# after updating the firmware?

oops, sorry - and thanks for swift reply.

N73 (3.901) that I've had for 2 years. Firmware v 4.0747.31.0.1.

No, Y-browser shows 'no data' too. Only browsing the phone via BT or USB or sticking the card in a reader shows anything on the card. I am able to select mp3s on the card as ringtones.

I've tried both restoring an old back-up and starting afresh and copying apps over but neither seems to have made a difference to the viewing thing (apps installed on the card work).

No, didn't do "#7370# after update.

thanks
