OK...I am real peeved now. I have had Opera running on my p800 for about a week...no problems worked great once I had the settings right. This AM I tried to connect and I first get a busy signal and then the following window:
Program Closed
Program Opera
Reason code KERN_EXEC
Reason number 3
I tried unistalling and reinstalling and got the same thing. What the h$#%% is going on here? I am running R1B but understand other folks have run this problem free. I haven't seen this window before running anything. Help...please! 😞
i had the same exact thing as you when i tried to install the arabic sms fonts, it corrupted my opera browser and i had the same message that appears 2 u. i solved this problem by formating the internal drive through the hidden menu.( jog dial up * jog dial down jog dial down * jog dial down *) then after formating, i reinstalled all the applications including opera and everything worked fine
Format the internal drive? Wow you are a brave lad. This is something I am not really prepared to do. I might try the master reset but that is about as far as I am prepared to go.
I had the same problem and I fixed it thdough the master restet. To me it happened after I set AOL as homepage. now it works fine, but I wonder if it may happen again.
i formatted the internal drive because the master reset didnt solve the problem with me. the thing is that the arabic fonts replaces the system fonts so opera browser does not recognise them. But after they released the new arabic sms software it works fine with opera and no such system error messages appear.
