I've had a Nokia 6670 for years and for the most part it has worked well.
However recently I've noticed that when a text message arrives it doesn't make a sound or vibrate as it used to. However on the screen I do see the tiny new-mail icon. The mystery is that I don't know what I changed. I haven't ever (knowingly) updated the software.
On the other hand, when there is an incoming call, I do indeed hear the ring-tone.
The General profile is active, so I had a look under:
Profiles -> General -> Personalise
and there is a Message alert tone.
So, my question is: how do I change it back, so that I do get an audible alert when I receive a new message?
