Six months on, it's time for another update to my semi-definitive(!) table of S60 hardware through the ages, over at 3-Lib. As ever, it's not perfect, so be gentle with me and if you can fill in any of the 'Unknown' blanks then please get in touch at [email protected]. Thanks.
Read on in the full article.
Lots of the empty specs are on Forum Nokia, for example the upcoming S60 devices have most of their processor speeds.
Wrapping up a waning epoch, ain't you Steve?
What resources must it take to support all the variations on the OS for all those different hardware hosts?
'Waning epoch?' Explain, please? Symbian OS is on the verge of a whole new epoch. Or maybe that's what you meant?

Most OSes are perfectly capable of running on a variety of hardware configurations: Linux, Windows, OS X etc. all run on many types of machine. Symbian is no different.
An OS that only ran on one hardware setup would be pretty useless for most people.
You can probably remove the old phones now. I am sure there would not be more than a few people who would be interested in them anymore. And even if they are, definitely not at spec level.
your 5630 and n85 have same pics?
I think the 5320 XpressMusic hasn't been listed in there.
Besides as already stated an error with the image of 5630 XpressMusic.
Thanks all, fixing those bits now!
Steve
