Gameloft's action adventure Prince Of Persia is now available on the N-Gage platform. Go to your phone's N-Gage application's showroom tab, select "Options" and then "Update Now" to see it. For more info about the N-Gage platform including a list of compatible devices, see All About N-Gage's FAQ section.

Quite a hefty download this, about 30 megabytes!
Just had a bit of a go on the trial version... it's great so far! Lovely 3D graphics, nice Tomb Raider-esque music, cut-scenes, slick gameplay, a decent-length demo which covers the whole first chapter of the game. Well done Gameloft!
Hopefully the full version will be as good.
good game, a little more faster than symbian version (performance). but i didnt like it, cause its not smoother enough! but its better than symbian version, and finally a great demo time! gameloft apparently learned from the past =D
You better be joking! A good game from Gameloft?! 😃
Tzer2, is this game longer than the symbian 3D version? Because I remember Asphalt 3 for n-gage had a larger size compared to the symbian version but didn't have anything more. The same for Asphalt 4.

Obviously everyone has their own idea of "good", but Prince Of Persia is undoubtedly a lot better than, say, Asphalt 4. PoP has better graphics, better sound, better gameplay.
And the demo also makes a lot more sense, you can play the entire first level at your own pace with no time limits. This is a lot better than Gameloft's infamous 20 second demo on Brothers In Arms or 30 second demo on Block Breaker.

I don't know, I haven't played the Symbian version. The official blurb says the N-Gage version has 12 chapters, is that the same? (There are the usual point pickups and online rankings which aren't on the Symbian version.)
Yep! It should be the same game. Anyway, I'm going to buy it cause I don't have the symbian version and I've played it on a friend's phone.
Does adding a simple arena ranking system make the size of the game that bigger?
I've just played the demo of the Symbian version on my N96, and it's probably the first n-gage game that I'll actually bother to purchase. It's an impressive game for a mobile game, very impressive fluid graphics, and good gameplay. And yes, there are 12 levels and point pickups in the Symbian version too, according to the screen which is asking me to purchase the full version.
Sjgore, I think MD90 meant the non-N-Gage Symbian version. Gameloft often brings out games for S60 as N-Gage and non-N-Gage versions, so a lot of people refer to the non-N-Gage version as "Symbian", even though both are technically Symbian apps.
And, yes, the graphics are wonderfully fluid for a mobile game. It looks very console-like.
In terms of graphic is it better than the symbian version or still the same.
I still see it 'Coming Soon' at the n-gage site 😞
Ah, I see. I hadn't realised the n-gage version and symbian version were different.
I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to Nokia, Symbian, n-gage, etc. I've had a Sony Ericsson K800/810 for the last few years and I've only recently defected to Nokia.
Great site, by the way. My previous post was my first one! 😊

Don't worry, you weren't actually wrong really.
Symbian and N-Gage are not technically different, N-Gage is basically just a method for Nokia to sell Symbian games on Nokia phones. All N-Gage devices are based on Symbian, so N-Gage games are more or less the same thing as Symbian games.
However, there are often some features added to N-Gage versions such as point pickups etc, and they sometimes have additional content. And of course Nokia's own first party games are available exclusively on N-Gage such as Creatures Of The Deep, System Rush Evolution etc.

In that case, welcome to N-Gage. 😊
Just out of interest, which N-Gage-compatible phone did you get?
Thanks for the welcome! 😊
I went for the N96, based on what I'd seen of people's N95's at work. And then I discovered about a week later (when trying to run Quake) that the N96 has a slower processor and no 3D hardware acceleration, which is why I am particularly impressed that Prince of Persia is so fluid.
