I`ve got a Sitecom USB dongle. When I try to connect the Bluetooth serial port it tells me the phone regected the connection... . I installed the latest driver from the sitecom site, the lateset driver 1.1.1 from SonyEricsosson, and Service Pack3 Windows2k. But it still doesn`t work.
Has anyone tried the Sitecom USB dongle...
Or Should I buy another USB dongle?
I`m quite desperate...

I get the same message but everything works fine 😊
I'm using SCM ZIO with and I've had the same problem with SCM and TDK drivers.

What is the P800 actually capable of doing with bluetooth ?
I've finally got my phone to communicate with my PC thanks to the threads in the tech forum but is it really worth it ?

I actually first synced my p800 with USB and craddle, but it was unsatisfactory (several contact - as usual, the most important ones - were missing, and it took really LOOOOOOOONG time). Then I borrowed the MSI Bluetooth PC2PC USB Adapter, tried it and it was just amazing - I am now doing all important jobs with it - syncing, installing the new software, copying the files there and back etc., it is really good. I am satisfied - hope it will last! I am using PC-AMD Athlon 1800+, W-XP SP1, Office XP SP1, Phone sync 1.1.1, phone version 1D. The only thing I am really missing on P800 is the lack of synchronization of repeating items from Outlook - and it is really needed!!! Hope the guys from S-E are reading this forums...
I use my Bluetooth connection at work from syncing to my office desktop while I leave my cradle at home... I also copy files to/from my p800 and install software via it...
The only thing I can't seem to do is "beam" stuff to/from my phone... my desktop doesn't see the phone to make the beam possible and if i try from my phone it tells me the desktop refused the connection... it's weird cuz sync works fine *shrug* :-?
