I want to get the NAM version of the 8gb model. I know I can use it as a bluetooth modem or usb modem, but Is it possible to share the internet over the wireless in a similar fashion to ICS on windows?
I use ICS to share my internet connection through a wireless router, and i want to know if its possible to do this with just the phone, instead of running ICS with computer.

that's coool, thanks....its ad-hoc though. I guess i'll have to figure out how i can config my router to use it.
you'd probably need the paid version. depends on the router too. if the router can be used as a range extender that might do it. treat your mobile as a router...
yeah, the paid version will give you a lot more over the non secure adhoc 'lite'
I was going by the FAQ where it said that it works over Ad-Hoc, so stuff like my wii and ds can't use it. I'm gonna get the paid version though. I'll try it out when i get the phone. and no, my router can't connect to Ad-Hoc networks.
