Mobile Streaming App Needs Testing

Hi everyone.

I have recently developed a J2ME application as part of my University course. The project is nearing the end of its development life cycle, and as part of a critical evaluation I would really appreciate some constructive feedback from additional end users. The application itself was originally meant to upstream and downstream mobile video "live" to other mobile devices and computers. Unfortunately, through J2ME technicalities it was found that this couldn't be done. The focus was changed to concentrate on downstreaming of video, and provide extra functionality with regards to static uploading/downloading and video privacy.

The system consists of two parts: The mobile software and its web counterpart. The idea is to make all parts of the system as available as possible to the end user, regardless of where they are at a given time. The software supports use of multiple cameras on a device, and enables video modification for videos you own. Downstreaming is achieved through RTP/RTSP protocols which the device itself must support. Access to the system requires an account, but please note that YOUR INFORMATION WILL BE IMMEDIATELY DELETED UPON PROJECT TERMINATION. You may also supply bogus information should you wish.

The software has undergone alpha testing on a Nokia N80 device, although it should work on any S60 (3rd ed.) supporting RTP/RTSP protocols and video recording. Currently only 3GP and MPEG encoding is supported.

Your feedback will be essential in evaluating, and taking this project further. Please be constructive in any criticisms you may have.
