Headphones problem with nokia n95 8gb? help? — Nokia N95 and N95 8GB

Hi all,

Iam having problem, with my headphones on nokia n95 8gb, i cant get any sound from them, when they are connected.? They can be used as anttena for radio, but i cant get sound from them.. i have tryed loads of headphones including nokia headphones i got with phone... its driving me mad, :frown: as i really want to use as my MP3 player on way to work etc..

I get messge when i connect the headphones saying " use phone microphone" but still no sound unless i take them out then i hear my music through phone..

Can anyone help me get this sorted...

are you saying that no headphones will work with your phone??

its not got the headsep music muted or anything simple like that has it? 😉

Assuming you know that there is no fault with the headphones it sounds like you might have the port set to tv-out or some other 'enhancement'.
Try: menu > tools > settings > general > enhancements and tick headset.
