speedtest.net is advertising that there is an app for iphone users.

Is there such a thing for us sumbian users?

Why? What I dont understand is benchmarks for phones which are all identical - same processor, GPU, memory etc.. (eg. iphones).

Granted - everyone might run the background applications differently.. but the main core processing is the same. If you suspect that applications are causing speed issues - then the best thing is to either uninstall them or hard reset your phone..

wondering this too. I just got a N97 Mini trial from nokia for next two weeks and had been using the N95 8gb. I'm using w/ t-mobile. From what I understand, the N97 mini's 3g band is compatible w/ T-mobile Usa's 3g band. I should also be able to use the 3g w/out needing to jump my data plan or anything. Wanted to test out the speed but seems I can't just visit speedtest.net from my browswer (at least the default N97 mini browser). a few days ago I tested my N95 8gb (so EDGE speeds) w/ a USB tether from my macbook pro: http://www.speedtest.net/result/917950947.png (the results are pretty sad). I could try to do the same tethered speed test again
