P800 Security issues

Can't see that this has been brought up yet which I find suprising.

On my P800 I have around 800 contacts (and it's still very speedy when searching!) I also have lots of botes, tasks etc.

What I'm worried about is losing my phone and somebody having access to all this data (or the wife having a nose) , I can't see there's a password feature when using the phone other than at power on.

I know there's HandySafe for storing personal details but it's a little impracticle and doesn't keep my SMS's from prowing eyes!

Any ideas! seems crazy this feature is not available!

😊

You can get it to ask for password whenever the screensaver has triggered which in turn is adjustable so 'tis a non issue.

From main menu do the following.

tap controlpanel
tap display

you can now adjust it all to your liking... (notably the feature you're after is enabled by ticking the "Screen saver device lock" box)
