I have a problem. I own a Nokia N96 and i changed my lock code, and now i'm putting the code in and it says, "code error". i dont know why. Can you help please????:con?
is there any way i could take this code out, like unlock the lock code.

If the N96 supports the Hard-Reset key-sequence, this would reset the lock code to 12345.
I think the sequence was as follows:-
1. Power off the phone
2. Hold 3, * and the Green call button down, and power on the phone
3. Keep the three buttons held down until the Nokia startup tune plays
4. If Hard Reset worked, you will be asked to select your Country, Time-Zone etc.
If the above process did not work first, time, try again - it's really fiddly keeping all the keys held down long enough!

I already tried that and all it does is bring me back to the lock code screen, it wont let me do anything. it just wants the password and it is not 12345. i dont know why.
Is there some kind of a software i can download that will unlock the code??? I know sony ericsson has one. but does nokia have one???

I don't think so. You may need to take the handset into an NCC (with proof of ownership) and have a Nokia engineer unlock it for you.
