Nokia 5800 Available Ram?

Just changed my N96 for a 5800, Far better phone in my opinion seems much quicker and smoother for browsing especially.

ANyway my query is about the Free Memory visible in File manager.

When I first got the phone it showed about 64mb Free on the c:. I installed a few apps (to the memory card) a few days later I noticed I was down to 54MB, I assumed this was being used by the new apps. Today having not installed anything else I am down to 49MB on the c: I cleared the internet cache which pushed this up to 51mb but wondered if anyone could shed light on where the free memory is going? Will it continue to drop and if so how do I get it back as surely at this rate I will run out?

Im fairly new to Symbian OS so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

This was happening to me my phone memory kept going down.

I changed the save settings for my text messages from phone memory to memory card and this seemed to free up more space. So if you are getting lots of text messages try saving to the memory card and see if that frees up some space.
